Pius Ezugwu and other Labour party lawmakers bought with 30million naira each to decamp to PDP
Reliable sources in Enugu PDP, who are not happy about the betrayal of Labour Party by these House of Assembly members, have revealed how they were bribed. Hon. Williams Amuka of Igbo-Etiti West, Hon. Pius Ezugwu of Nsukka East, Hon. Ejike Eze of Igbo-Eze North, and the rest who took this picture with Peter Mbah agreed on a total of N30 million each to betray the electorate who selflessly voted for them, especially LP members who used their resources to campaign for them in order to effect positive change in governance.
The first tranche of N15 million was given to each of them on the 10th day of this month, and the second tranche of N10 million was given to them on 14th March, to enable them to mobilize and entertain people at the Government House. The remaining balance of N5 million would be given to them on 27th March, after their decampment on 24th. As of today, therefore, each of them has collected N25 million.
They're opportunists who betrayed the electorate that fought for them. This is the highest ever recorded betrayal in Enugu politics. The electorate will pay them back in due course.
